Elmira Rahim, our Language Assistant

Today we say goodbye to our Language Assitant Elmira Rahim. She comes back to Los Angeles, USA. She has been at Miguel Crespo for eight months sharing her traditions,culture and helping teachers and students to improve English.

Thank you for your help and dedication and we wish you luck in your life. We will miss you. We hope you have also enjoyed your stay in Spain and Córdoba!

EUROPE DAY 9TH OF MAY

Europe Day held on 9 May every year celebrates peace and unity in Europe. The date marks the anniversary of the historic 'Schuman declaration' that set out his idea for a new form of political cooperation in Europe, which would make war between Europe's nations unthinkable. Schuman's proposal is considered to be the beginning of what is now the European Union.

MAY AND CROSSES IN OUR SCHOOL

 CROSSES IN MAY 

This festival takes place at the beginning of May (3 May is Día de la Santa Cruz, St Cross Day). Crosses are decorated with flowers by hermandades (Catholic brotherhoods) and neighbourhood groups, competing for prizes.
